Yahoo Buzz and Google Videos Shutting down

Two popular services by two internet giants Google and Yahoo will be closed very soon. Yahoo Buzz and Google Videos shutting down.

Yahoo Buzz Shutting Down on April 21,2011:

Yahoo Buzz started in 2008,is a news article sharing,Social Bookmarking website heavily inspired from Digg.It will be closed down on April 21,2011. Yahoo said “Part of our organizational streamlining involves cutting our investment in under-performing or off-strategy products to put better focus on our core strengths and fund new innovation in the next year and beyond”. It clearly shows Yahoo-Buzz is under-performing and Non-Profitable.

Google Videos Shutting down

Google Videos is a video search engine, and formerly a free video sharing website started in the year 2005.Google announced via email that after April 29 they would no longer allow playback of content uploaded to their service, effectively becoming a video search engine. Videos will still be available for download by the owner until May 13, 2011, when they will be removed.

Google encourages all the Google Videos members to move their videos to Google’s YouTube.
