HTC Rhyme is a android smartphone with HTC Sense. Ice Cream Sandwich Update for Android Phones

Android 4.0 Ice Scream Sandwich launched by Google last week. Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first android smartphone comes with Android 4.0 named as Ice Cream Sandwich. This new version of Android has many unique refined features to its list. Face lock, Voice Typing, New Camera interface, Hardware Acceleration are some of the features.

Google Nexus S Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Update

Google Mobile SVP Andy Rubin confirmed that the first updates will start rolling out within weeks of the Galaxy Nexus release. Google Nexus S will be the very first phone to get the ICS Update (Ice Scream Sandwich). Google is working on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The also confirms that devices that are compatible with Android Gingerbread can be Upgraded to Android 4.0. There is no exact date for the Nexus S Update.

Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade for Sony Ericsson 2011 handsets

Sony Ericsson Netherlands confirmed on its Facebook page that all their 2011 Xperia handsets will get the Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich update. Sony Ericsson is currently on its Gingerbread 2.3.4 upgrade for Xperia smartphones. Once ICS is available for Sony Ericsson, they will start the upgrade process. Xperia Mobiles like Xperia Play, Xperia Ray, Arc , Neo and Neo V will get the upgrade for sure.
