Sony launches Android Tablets. Sony as expected prefers Android 3.0 OS for their tablets. The Sony tablets named as Sony S1 and Sony S2. Sony S1 has a single 9.4-inch touchscreen, while the Sony S2 has two 5.5-inch touchscreen display that can be folded for portability, with power packed hardware features. Seems Sony will give tough competition to Apple’s iPad 2. Sony S1 and S2 are certified by Sony PlayStation games to run classic PlayStation Suite.

The Sony S1 has a 9.4 inch touch screen and camera both in the back and in front, while the Sony S2 comes with two 5.5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 480 pixels each, and foldable design for portability. Both tablets will come with Sony dual-core processor 2 Nvidia Tegra,Android 3.0, WiFi and WAN (3G/4G).Sony S1 will retail for $ 600, while Sony S2 would cost $ 700. Price may change little after official launch.
