The first stable beta version of Firefox 3.1 has been released a couple of days ago.
Now let’s see what’s new in Firefox 3.1

2. Add new tab button
The first thing I noticed when launched Beta 1, was the “add new tab” button. The button is located on the far right of the tab bar. It’s a nice little addition, especially if you want to avoid opening a new tab via double clicking on the bar.

3. Ctrl+Tab feature
The next and most exciting feature is the new Ctrl-TAB system, which has finally been implemented! It behaves exactly like the Alt-TAB shortcut that is used for switching opened Windows. Thus you can now press Ctrl-TAB to visually navigate through all opened tabs, and easily switch to one of them.
