Finally the rooting instructions of Nexus S on Android 2.3 Gingerbread is out.XDA hacker Koush has announced that the Gingerbread running Google Android phone can now be rooted and put in recovery. Earlier we read Unlocking Nexus S Bootloader.
How to root the Nexus S with Android 2.3.
- Go to fastboot / bootloader mode by holding volume up + power buttons.
- Download the Clockwork Mod recovery, and install this Recovery.
- Then boot into Clockwork recovery and install the Superuser zip file.
- Your Neuxs S is now rooted and also has a custom recovery!
