Finally the rooting instructions of Nexus S on Android 2.3 Gingerbread is out.XDA hacker Koush has announced that the Gingerbread running Google Android phone can now be rooted and put in recovery. Earlier we read Unlocking Nexus S Bootloader.

  • Go to fastboot / bootloader mode by holding volume up + power buttons.
  • Download the Clockwork Mod recovery, and install this Recovery.
  • Then boot into Clockwork recovery and install the Superuser zip file.
  • Your Neuxs S is now rooted and also has a custom recovery!
