How to get/add the Status Bar in Firefox 4.0? Firefox 4 launched with a new design,which omitted the Status bar option. Status bar is page load progress bar /download status bar is a toolbar that came in Firefox 3. But Firefox 4 adopts Google Chrome design in this Status Bar option.

I found that if I right click on a blank area of the top bar (File, Edit, View etc) in Firefox 4 I got a drop down menu with an unchecked option of “Add-on Bar”.
After checking that my add-on bar came back including a status bar for downloads.
