Google stared a new data storage service called Google Takeout. What can we do with Google Takeout ? Google is offering multiple services like Google Buzz, Picasa, Google Contacts and the Latest Google Plus for users. Google Takeout helps to download an archive of your data from Buzz, Picasa, Google Contacts and Google Plus.Google is planning to include more google services in Google Takeout.
Visit Google Takeout page and login with your Google account. Then select the google services which you want to download or backup. You can either select a sing service or all services. Once selected, you can click the Create Archive button. All archives created are available under downloads button. you’ll find that all your data is in portable and open formats‚ so it’s easy to import to other services quickly.
