Google unveils “Cr-48“, Very first Chrome OS Laptop. Google going to distribute this unbranded Laptop using their Chrome OS Pilot Program.It comes in Black Color. Acer and Samsung will be making available the retail Chrome OS models from the middle of 2011.

- Atom N455 1.6GHz dual-core processor
- 16GB SanDisk SSD and Hynix RAM chips (possibly 1GB)
- 12.1-inch screen.
- Full size keyboard.
- Oversized clickpad.
- Qualcomm Gobi 3G chip for Verizon data in the US, your carrier of choice internationally.
- 802.11n dual-band WiFi.
- 8+ hours of active use.
- 8+ days of standby.
- Webcam.
- Flash storage

I am so surprised and happy that I got picked by Google to test out there new Chrome laptop. I came home and found it on my front door wating for me from UPS overnight air! Hope I get to keep it after the program is done! Anyway if anyone wants to apply to test one out here is the link Google sent to me in an email 2 days ago. Better hurry tho you only have until Dec. 21st to apply! Good luck
