For those of you who don’t know, Fennec is basically Firefox Mobile. Presently available as a pre-alpha release, Fennec shows real promise as an alternate web browser to the stock Android Browser (which is based on Chrome’s Webkit engine).
The new pre-alpha, which is available here can be installed only after you uninstall any previous build. This is not an officially signed build and contains several unmerged or in-progress patches, so plan on it being a bit buggy.

Some features that have been added or updated include partial fixes for installing add-ons (including Firefox Sync), saving preferences, and the long-awaited multitouch zoom.
If you’re the adventurous type and have the ability to install non-Market apps, go ahead and give Fennec a shot!
